After the death of a loved one, one important question to ask is what you will do with their ashes. Some people choose to keep the ashes in an urn as a memento, while other people would prefer to allow their loved one to return to the earth. This “return to earth” is a process known as ash scattering. There are a few ways to do this, and one of the most special and meaningful ways is through aerial ash scattering.
At Keen Fly, we conduct aerial scattering of cremated remains by helicopter. After a single trip into the sky, your loved one will be able to rest peacefully in any number of beautiful ocean locations around South Florida. This is a major benefit to ash scattering—wherever you choose as the scattering site is a location you can return to. That way, you can be present with your loved one. You can also share this information with other family members so that they can also visit the location.
Additionally, aerial ash scattering and/or aerial roses scattering is an excellent alternative to traditional, and often overwhelming, memorial services. With an ocean ash scattering service and roses scattering service, you can keep the experience as personal and peaceful as you want. Whether you choose to attend the ocean ash scattering in solitude or with a group of close friends and family, the experience is sure to be much less hectic than that of a traditional funeral service.
Aerial scattering of cremated remains and roses scattering over an ocean is also an incredible way to honor someone’s memory. If they have a unique connection to the sea or another location, you can show your respect and remembrance with a thoughtful scattering.
